The Badger Group is FSC certified by the Rainforest Alliance. We have the ability to apply the FSC or Rainforest Alliance logo to projects printed on FSC-certified paper. We are delighted to offer this service to our clients to help reduce the environmental impact of their printed materials and demonstrate to their own customers a commitment to environmental responsibility.

What is an FSC-Certified printer?

Printers may apply for FSC certification. Those who can reliably track their paper back through the manufacturing and transport processes to FSC-certified sources are awarded certification. Chain-of-custody certification is granted only after a thorough facility audit, which reviews the integrity of a company’s paper-materials handling processes.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide. The FSC Chain of Custody certification verifies FSC-certified material and products along the production chain to ensure that materials and products with the FSC label are from responsible sources.

Rainforest Alliance Certified SealThe Rainforest Alliance is one of the founding members of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Products that bear the FSC mark and the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal are sourced from forests that: 1) protect endangered species and forest areas of high conservation value, 2) set aside a portion of land as forest reserve, 3) provide workers with decent wages and protect their ability to organize, 4) follow FSC guidelines that determine how, when, and where timber and non-timber forest products are harvested, and 5) respect the rights of local communities and indigenous people.
